Getting Here

When arriving in the Tyndall Air Force Base area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport which is about 35 miles from the base. Taxi service is available from the airport to the base.

If arriving by car, you can access the base via U.S. Highways 98 and 231 as well as State Routes 20, 22, 77, and 79. Military personnel in need of temporary lodging can reserve space at the Sand Dollar Inn, which offers over 50 family housing units with either two-, three-, and four-bedroom duplexes for military personnel.
